Osmira connects to the tools your team already uses — communication tools like Slack and Gmail, and project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, Notion, and Trello — to help coordinate client conversations and project work. Doing that job well requires access to some of your data, and we want to be plain about what we access, why, and what we will never do with it.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, workspace name, and billing details when you sign up.
  • Connected-service data. When you connect a tool via OAuth, we store the access tokens needed to act on your behalf, and we process the content our features require: messages in channels you choose, emails in inboxes or labels you choose, and tasks, boards, and documents in the projects you connect.
  • Usage data. Basic product analytics — features used, actions approved or dismissed — and technical logs needed to keep the service running and secure.

How we use your information

  • To provide Osmira's features: detecting action items in conversations, drafting tasks, writing status updates, and flagging work that has gone quiet.
  • To process content with AI models. Content from your connected tools is sent to our AI providers only as needed to generate drafts and summaries for you.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • To communicate with you about your account and the product.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
  • We do not use your content — messages, emails, tasks, or documents — to train AI models.
  • We do not take actions in your tools without your approval. Nothing is created, changed, or sent until someone on your team says so.
  • We do not read beyond the scope you grant: only the channels, labels, and projects you connect.

Google user data

Osmira's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide the features described here, is never used for advertising, and is never transferred except as necessary to provide those features, for security, or to comply with law.

Sharing with service providers

We rely on a small number of subprocessors to run Osmira — cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processing, and email delivery. Each is bound by contract to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

Data retention and deletion

We keep connected-service content only as long as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect a tool, we delete its stored content and revoke our tokens. When you close your account, we delete your workspace data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted, access is restricted on a need-to-know basis, and we review our practices regularly. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us — we respond to all requests within 30 days.

Children

Osmira is a workplace tool and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect.
